Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.     This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.     Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.     The offeror is responsible for subcontracting as necessary in order to fulfill the requirements of the solicitation to include required delivery dates.     This solicitation, WABV01-04-R-0029 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).     This requirement is being issued as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with FAR clause 52.211-6.     The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13 (April 2003) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), 1998 edition and current to the DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20020531 (May 2002).       The applicable NAICS code is 423420.

This requirement is for:

CLIN 0001 HP Officejet 7100 All-in-One series Combined Copier/Scanner/Printer.       Must take A4 size paper, and print black only, no color     1/EA;

CLIN 0002     Toner Cartridge for CLIN 0001,     2/EA;

CLIN 0003     Copier Paper,     Size     A4, 5/BX;

The FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (OCT 2000) applies to this acquisition, along with the following addenda, (1) Offerors will be evaluated using the following evaluation factors, technically acceptable and price.     The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government.     All offers must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, (JUN 2003) Alternate I (APR 2002).       Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or information as required by FAR 52.212-1 and 52.212-3 cited above, or rejects the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.     In order to complete the Representation and Certifications and review the clauses in this solicitation you must go to the US Air Force website at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFAR1.HTM, locate the referenced clause, copy and paste to a Word document and complete.     The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (FEB 2002), FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Commercial Items (JUNE 2003) to include the following subparagraphs, 52.203-6,     52.225-13, 52.225-15, 52.225-15, 52.232-33, and 52.233-3;     DFARS clause 252.212-7001 (JUNE 2003) subparagraphs 52.203-3, 252.247-7023, and 252.247-7024. If selected, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database as per FAR clause 52.232-33.
