Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only, and a separate written solicitation W914NS-04-Q-0148 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 2 Mar 2004. The contractor must be able to provide and supervise economic surveyors (economists) resident throughout Iraq in order that these economists produce surveys and studies on all aspects of Iraq?s economy. The contractor will also provide financial and administrative support and support personnel to the economists as required throughout the country. The Government requires implementation within 30 days after award date of contract. Delivery: FOB Destination to Republican Presidential Compound, Baghdad, Iraq. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. Requests for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued to all respondents to this synopsis. The solicitation can be viewed online at http://fedbizopps.gov. RFQ response offers can be emailed to cpa_contracting_acti@orha.centcom.mil . Offers must be received no later than 5:00 PM, Baghdad, Iraq Time , 16 Mar 2004. Questions may be addressed to Frank Sharshel @ 703-343-9224 .
