Description

The Government intends to issue multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for a three (3) year period for a wide variety of Security Services in support of eighteen (18) Governorate Teams (GTs) and four (4) Regional Coordinators (RCs) in eighteen p rovinces of Iraq. The contractor(s) will be required to provide Program Management Teams (PMT), Close Protection Teams (CPT) and Security Forces for personal protection and security to specified persons and/or facilities and convoys. The eighteen (18) Go vernorate Coordinators at the GTs and the four (4) Regional coordinators supporting the Coalition Provisional Authority, Iraq, will assume full responsibility in ensuring successful execution of the Statement of Work (SOW) to the Pool of Qualified Security Service Contractors. The services will be procured from contractors who are evaluated and determined Technically Acceptable (i.e., fully qualified, trained, equipped, and capable of complete mission performance). It is anticipated that multiple Blanket Purchasing Agreements (BPAs) will be issued with individual Call Orders awarded under the BPAs. It is the intent of the Government to have available, a Pool of Qualified Security Service Contractors in which to pull from to compete for the individual Order s/Calls. To receive consideration, an Offeror must be found Technically Acceptable and their prices determined fair and reasonable. It is possible that additional Contractors will be evaluated and a determination made as whether to include them within the Pool of Qualified Security Service Contractors during the duration of the BPA. As a result, acceptance of contractors into the Pool of Qualified Security Service Contractors is possible across the life of this anticipated requirement if needed. The Requ est for Quotes (RFQ) to include the Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted to the Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) Home Page at: www.aca-nrcc.eustis.army.mil. no later than 30 Dec 2003. Proposal due date is Tuesday, Jan 20, 2004 at 1:00pm local time.
