Description

This announcement is for the purpose of soliciting names of United States Construction firms, International Construction Firms and Joint Ventures interesting in submitting an offer on the below described project. 

 

To be considered a United States Fir m, the firm must: be incorporated in the U.S.;have its corporate headquarters in the U.S.;the firm has filed corporate and employment tax returns in the U.S.for a minimum of two (2) years (if required);has filed State and Federal income tax returns for two    (2)years (if required) and has paid any taxes as a result of these filings;and the firm employs U.S. Citizens in key management positions. Construction Surety will be required.

 

 The magnitude of this project is between

$5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.

 

PROPOSAL BID PERIOD:   

This solicitation is tentatively scheduled for release on or about 10 March 2004 and the proposal due date is 9 April 2003.Do not send a request or call if this solicitation is delayed for any reason. Firms who have requested the solicitation will receive the solicitation when issued.

 

PROJECT SCOPE:

The construction of a 10 MW, 11kV power plant and associated distribution system at St.Mere. Site work includes clearing, and leveling area for power plant and operator's building. Electric al distribution system will consist of trenching and installation of transmission lines. The electrical distribtuion system will also include the construction and installation of new switch gear, transformers and associated equipment.
