Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only, and a separate written solicitation W914NS-04-Q-0147 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 22 Feb 2004. Total Qty of ARMOR CARS: 8 each, Total of Concealable Body Armor Level III 8 ea, Total of 8 EA Body Armor Level IIIA, Total of 8 each Protective helmet Level IIIA, Kelvar. The specifications are included in the solicitation. The Government requires delivery of items to be made within 30 days after award date of contract. Delivery: FOB Destination to Republican Presidential Compound, Baghdad, Iraq. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. Requests for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued to all respondents to this synopsis. The solicitation can be viewed online at http://fedbizopps.gov. &nbspRFQ response offers can be emailed to cpa_contracting_acti@orha.centcom.mil .
