This announcement constitutes the synopsis only, and a separate written solicitation W914NS-04-R-0125 will be issued as a Request for Proposal on or after 15 Mar 2004. &nbspThe Coalition Provisional Authority, Contracting Activity is planning to award a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee type contract to acquire services to establish a Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) consisting of a throughput process with procedures to facilitate shipment of supplies and materials throughout Iraq in support of reconstruction efforts upon receipt from freight forwarders. &nbspIdentified locations within Iraq will be used to establish staging areas to provide cargo handling functions in preparation for final distribution to project sites and customers throughout Iraq. &nbspA web based movement control and tracking system and a logistical management center to provide overall logistical support is also required. &nbspThe offeror?s technical approach must include logistics analysis capability, a movement control and tracking system, with integration of PMO operational, security and logistics functions. &nbspOfferor should take into account the necessity for security measures sufficient to ensure final delivery of materials. &nbspAccess to a logistics analysis and assessment capability is desired. &nbspThis procurement is not a small business set-aside/ any responsible source may submit an offer. &nbspA Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to all respondents to this synopsis. &nbspThe solicitation can be viewed online at http://fedbizopps.gov. &nbspRFP response offers can be emailed to cpa_contracting_acti@orha.centcom.mil. &nbspQuestions may be addressed in writing to Laurie Pierce @ Email:PierceL@orha.centcom.mil. &nbspAll correspondence must include the solicitation number (W914NS-04-R-0125); your full name, your company name, and telephone and fax numbers. &nbspAll offers shall be considered.
