Description

This requirement was originally solicited by the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA)Contracting Office, Baghdad, Iraq under Solicitation Number W914NS-04-R-0103. The Solicitation was transferred to Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC), via Am endment 0001. NRCC's Solicitation Number W911S0-04-R-0005 supercedes the CPA's Solicitation Number W914NS-04-R-0103. The closing date has been extended to March 26, 2004. The Pre-Proposal Conference remains scheduled for March 9, 2004 @ 10:00 A.M. Amen dment 0003 will be published in FedBizOpps March 5, 2004 which will provide the new Solicitation, Sections B - M. As there was a posting problem between ASFI and FedBizOpps for Amendment 0002 of Solicitation W911S0-04-R-0005, the contents of that Amendmen t are provided as follows for informational purposes: W911S0-04-R-0005 AMENDMENT 0002 - A. Due to the reassignment and redirection of this Solicitation/Contract action from the CPA-Contracting Activity (Bag hdad, Iraq), to the Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) Fort Eustis, Virginia, it is anticipated that a majority of the current Solicitation (Number W914NS-04-R-0103), will be changed (i.e., Sections B, I, J, K, L & M). It is anticipated that issuanc e of the Amendment which changes the above mentioned Solicitation Sections will occur on or prior to Monday March 8, 2004. Minor changes may also occur with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and if so, will be identified in the upcoming Amendment. B. CPA Contracting Activity Solicitation Number W914N2-04-R-0103 is replaced by NRCC Solicitation Number W911S0-04-R-0005. C. The closing date is extended to March 26, 2004. D. All firms interested in attending the Pre-Proposal Conference scheduled for March 9, 2004 may attend with a limit of two (2) attendees per firm. Please submit, in writing via e-mail, the names of attendees to the Contracting Officer??????s representa tive, Debi Adams at Debi.Adams@eustis.army.mil by 10:00 A.M. on Mar 8, 2004. Indicate whether or not proposed attendees are U. S. citizens. No recording devices of any kind are permissible. E. Directions to Ft Eustis from Washington, DC and Richmond, VA are as follows: Interstate 95 to Interstate 64 East take Exit 250A (Fort Eustis Blvd) Upon entering Ft Eustis, get in right hand lane. You will need to enter the Visitor??????s Center and obtain a ??????one day pass.?????? A driver??????s license and vehicle registration are required in order to obtain the ??????one day pass.?????? Once you exit the Visitor??????s Center, you will be on Washington Ave. Continue straight on Washington Ave to the very end (approximately 2 miles) At the end of Washington Ave, take a left onto Madison. Continue on Madison around the bend. There are 2 Harrison Loop entrances; take the second entrance into the parking lot. The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) will be in the NE corner once you enter into the large parking lot. The Center is located in the last 3 buildings. Please enter using the canopied entrance. Take a left upon entering the building and check in at the receptionist??????s desk.
