Description

The United States Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command has a requirement for equipment, equipment training, logistics support requirements and maintenance requirements for the New Iraqi Army (NIA) and Iraqi Civil Defense Corps (IDCD) to include: vehicles and rolling stock; weapons; communications equipment; night vision devices; fire control equipment; individual soldier equipment; site set up and prep of battalion sets. This action is limited to firms from the United States, Iraq, Coalition partn ers and force contributing nations pursuant to the Department of Defense Determination dated December 5, 2003. Only one award will be made for all requirements in the solicitation under a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type contra ct. The ordering period of the contract will be from date of award to 30 September 2006. Please see RFP for further details.
: TACOM is releasing a draft solicitation for the Iraqi Armed Forces and associated security forces battalion sets on March 29, 2004. To access the RFP, the directions are: go to website, http://contracting.tacom.army.mil,then go to Warren, Business O pportunities, find, Open Solicitations, and click on, Iraqi Requirements. Questions on the draft solicitation must be received no later than April 2, 2004 to Ms. Denise Mika, iafsseb@tacom.army.mil. All questions and answers will be posted to the websit e. The final solicitation is planned for release on April 5, 2004. Proposals will be due on April 29, 2004 at 1330. A Pre-Proposal Conference is planned for the week of April 12, 2004. More details to follow.
